A Singaporean scientist has been awarded the 2023 Apec Science Prize for Innovation, Research and Education (Aspire). He is the first Singaporean to win the award. In addition to the winners of the main prizes, this year’s Singapore Prize will feature a special prize for the best essay. The essay should be about the themes of hope, resilience, and transformation, and address how they can apply to the region.
